Hey, Brainy Man
An avant-garde comedy
“Formally daring, bitterly humorous and dreamily unsettling.”
— NZIFF
A group of ancient humans find an object which they believe can make messages - they have something to say to Homo Sapiens. Timewise, it’s about now, somewhere near a city.
The stragglers carry the message machine through the forest to the outskirts of humanity, to where the roads cut into the trees. They deposit their statement: a performance appraisal for humankind on our epic evolutionary journey. The message has some praise for what humans have done, and also some serious concerns.
Some in the group think that Sapiens will be fine… but will they? Question: are we in control of the heavy consequences of our contemporary behaviour? Are we humans going to be ok or are we on the way out?
